Abstract
This study examines the impact of energy efficiency, technology innovation, institutional quality, and trade openness on greenhouse gas emissions across ten countries. Using comparative empirical analysis, the research evaluates how economic development, environmental governance, and technological progress influence carbon emissions. The findings reveal that improvements in energy efficiency and technological innovation significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while strong institutional quality enhances environmental performance. Trade openness demonstrates mixed effects depending on national policies and economic structures. The study highlights the importance of integrated sustainability strategies, green technologies, and effective governance in achieving long-term environmental and economic goals.
